Mysterious "Medea" from the Orient of Company EAST
The first presentation in January 2007 in La MaMa ,New York.

@Company East toured Greece in 1996 and became the first Oriental company to perform at the ancient ruins of Cyprus, Kourion i©Clickjin 1997.It won the popularity vote in the Rarunaka Festival in 1997 and was once again invited to perform for the Japan Greece Friendship centennial in 1999.

@The princess sorcerer, Medea betrays her father and her country to run off with Iason whom she fell in love with.
@ But Iason, for the sake his country, made a pact with King Creon to marry his daughter Glauce, the royal princess of Corinth, thus joining the 2 kingdoms.
@The betrayed and angry Medea takes revenge on Iason and murders the royal princess by sorcery. She then goes on to murder her 2 sons she gave birth to by Iason and escapes on a dragon.
