Story of "Medea"

A Greek tragedy by poet Euripides.
The princess sorcerer, Medea betrays her father and her country to run off with Jason whom she fell in love with.
But Jason, for the sake his country, made a pact with King Creon to marry his daughter Glauce, the royal princess of Corinth, thus joining the 2 kingdoms.
The betrayed and angry Medea takes revenge on Jason and murders the royal princess by sorcery. She then goes on to murder her 2 sons she gave birth to by Jason and escapes on a dragon.

The production was highly praised in its homeland of Greece.　"Hiroshi Jin's Medea shines!"
It was awarded the Scotsman 5 stars in Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2001 where it stunned the people with its powerful intense and dynamic physicality.
